What we collect when you join the list. Your email address, the time you joined, whether a friend's link brought you here, and — only if you choose to tell us — which university you're at. That's the lot.

What we use it for. Emailing you about The Scene's launch and your place on the founding list. We won't sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you properly.

Analytics. We measure how the page performs (how far people scroll, how long joining takes) using anonymous, first-party events. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics companies.

Where it lives and how long. Data is stored securely with our hosting provider inside standard UK/EU data protections. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we do — email info@thescene.events and it's gone within 30 days.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. If we ever get it wrong, you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
